A Fleeting Reality

Reality is subjective. It is the interpretation we make of our environment through our senses. This interpretation is shaped by our beliefs, fears and other mental mechanisms that we inherit from our culture, environment and personal experiences. The way we make sense of our lives is only the result of what we have learned through biased lenses and it is so deeply rooted in our mind that we can hardly identify and challenge these interpretations.

Hence reality is fleeting and evolves constantly. It is contradictory with what our ancestors, our contemporaries and our descendants perceive. The more we cultivate our differences and observe others, the more we can learn about ourselves.
